Support at home

To stay independent in your own home, sometimes you need a little extra support.

What support can you get?

Depending on your needs, support could be anything from an hour a week - up to 24-hour care:

  • help with household tasks, like cooking and laundry
  • money management and tenancy advice
  • accompanying you on outdoor activities
  • assistance with personal care.

How to get care in the home

You'll need an eligibility assessment by a social care professional who can identify the best way to keep your independence. From this assessment a care and support plan will be created, suited to your personal needs.
